Iv got a 24mm adj rear bar and CDF f/r droplinks about to go on.
Is it worth splashing out on stronger mounts? Has anyone actually had oe ones fail because of a bigger arb?

I was advised to get the uprated mounts when I fitted a 24mm rear bar as the standard oe mounts weren't up to the job.

That's what i was thinking, but when i read threads and see pics of arbs most of the time they are on oe mounts and iv never heard of anyones breaking.

I've seen quite a few fail, to be honest. They usually tear at the tab where the bolt goes through. Cheapest solution is to get Subaru 04+ rear mounts but you'll need to get the appropriate poly bush as the bracket and bush shape is different to previous years (bug eye/classic). Or just get some HD mounts from someone like Whiteline.
