Bugeye rear N/S knocking
I did a search and found that its a common problem for the bugeye rear N/S to knock the only thing is I couldnt find any conclusive solutions? Is it a case of brand new coilovers or say 2nd set of hawk suspension( being newer are they better?) or car I get mine fixed? I should mention it only knocks at low speed going over speed humps etc...my dad reckons its the spoiler lol
If youve had this problem what did you do?
Cheers lee
ps cheapest bestest solution plz

It actually can be the spoiler, take it off to test.
edit: A girl I bought my low mileage shocks from had done the same, replaced her suspension only to find it happen again, got a guy to sit in the boot and right enough, it was the spoiler.
My rear driverside shock wasnt so lucky, it went from fine to very noisey in a few weeks, click on the pic to play the video.
Borked!

I'm in a similar position - I have hawkeye wrx wagon with knocking all round (!) I'm about to search / post for recommendation on coilovers (seen some for £600ish: http://www.just-subaru.com/my06-07-a...t-80767-0.html and http://www.scoobyparts.co.uk/acatalo..._NEW_AGEn.html) or 4 x standard Subaru dampers (£576 + fitting). However, this may help you if you haven't already seen it: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.p...wageRearStruts

I've not tried it yet.
The car has done 40k now and had a brief inspection from Rivett Autos ruling out visible things like CV joints, they expect the shocks need replacing and from what from has been said in the forums this sounds very likely. Although OEM appeal (except the price) I'm loathed to buy something that is just going to fail again in 30-40k when there is potentially better available for the same or less money.
FYI I get knocking from r/n/s pulling away, and full lock front o/s and n/s.
