Hi

03 Sti rear strut replacement an easy job ? do I need spring compressors ?

just to keep you in the loop, I've just done the job and didn't need spring compressers. Lucky cos I don't have any

Worst part of changing the struts is getting the bloody bolts off at the bottom!

Be liberal with the WD40 the night before

Hi ..... takes roughly an hour a side. I didn't need compressors but my springs are Prodrive so a little lower. If yours are standard not sure ....

Always use spring compressors, you never know how much those springs are compressed! It can be very dangerous without them.
