Default Are there any non subaru shocks for 05 wrx?

Hi All,

I have an 05 WRX and i need rear shocks for it. Subaru genuine are prohibitively expensive and i am struggling to find the correct replacements.

http://opposedforces.com/parts/impre...llustration_2/

shows that I need subaru parts 20361FE320 and 20361FE330

KYB only do a part (334356) which replaces 20360FE540, which was for cars up to the middle of '04. Sachs seem to be the same.

Is there really no option for replacement other than genuine subaru, or a modified, upgrade setup?

Has anyone else managed to find one that fits? and if so, where from?

thanks

Slip

Right gents check this out... put my reg into euro carparts' site and searched shocks and came up with the following;

http://www.eurocarparts.com/shock-absorber

Although it is listing rears only..

and they listed my car as a 2005 scoob so there may be something in this... probably better visiting them in person to double/triple check etc but it looks promising?

that`s what i fitted to my blob facelift, slightly thinner than oe but fitted well apart from the thread at the top which was a bit longer so had to make up some heavy guage washers . we`re only talking 2mm here though so not a problem.much better ride though and no more clonking !! p.s aren`t the subaru items made by kyb anyway?

Yes, that's what a couple of dealers have told me. Anyone any knowledge of Sachs shock absorbers?
