Thumbs up My new reigers

Just sold the Impreza rally car to move onto to something completely different , I was going to retire !
I have bought a clio cup race car and will be turning it into a tarmac rally car , a few jobs need doing on it , the suspension being one of them , it has very low , very hard Bilstein race suspension which is way too hard for rallying , I want to do various events this year ranging from super smooth to bumpy Irish lanes so decided on 3 way adjustable suspension to suit all rallies , not cheap , but saves me changing springs to suit.

Contacted a few suppliers ranging from Proflex , Ohlins , Reiger , AST , AVO ect , I was interested in the AST's which looked good , seemed to work from the few people I spoke to , but was put off with long delivery and servicing times from feedback I was getting.

I would have liked to put Reigers or Proflex on as these are about as good as it gets , but at about £5k for a car set for the Proflex decided it wasn't for me , its only a fun car and don't want to throw shed loads of money at it , Reigers came back to me with a quote of nearly half that , Those who don't know , Reigers have been on just about every WRC car since adam was a boy , they are right at the top of the pile , so checked and double checked they had quoted me right , and it was for a car set not per corner lol , sure enough all was right , still had my fingers crossed 5 weeks later when they had been made and was delivered to me over christmas.

I'm over the moon with what I have received , fully adjustable for height , fast and slow bump , and rebound.

They look a lot nicer than the ones coming off lol

Hi
It worked out at about £2,500 + vat + delivery , was not offered any deals or discount , I think they are lowering there prices to aim more at the clubman , It is a fantastic price considering what I got , it doesn't really get any better.

If you have the money to spend , then its not over-kill on any car

Cheers Ian

Nice! I was looking to try something more upmarket to my ASTs. Want to learn/experiment with a 3 way. Do I need it for the street and mild track? Heck no. But the car needs new toys, he's feeling neglected!
