Default Geometry

Hi,

Would like some advice.

My friend, like me is running a MY04 WRX and will be changing his tyres soon. He wants to have the geometry set at the same time. We have no Subaru specialists within sensible distance but there are some local companies who can do this work. My question is can I give him the report from my geometry set up for him to provide as a baseline for a non Subaru outfit to copy? I have had a Powerstation stage 2 kit fitted and also I run a Wagon where he runs a saloon. Will these two factors have any bearing?

Thanks for any help and advice you can give us.

Mark

Print this out and ask for it as shown.

WRX saloon, set-up for B-roads and fast road use.... courtesy of corradoboy

I added a fair bit more -ve camber to mine, as it goes on track now and then...

I agree with Dunx, and I also have upped the front camber to 1.75 degrees.

Gonzo, you can set the fronts using the factory camber bolts, but there is normally no rear adjustment. If you want to adjust the rear you'll need to fit some form of adjustment, camber bolts are cheapest option

Cheers mate
I'm still not sure what I really want to do with the suspension on my spec D. I am not happy with the way it is at the moment that's for sure to crashy and noisy If I had the money I would get some of those BC coil covers and start from there but I ha a de cat and map this year and any more money spent on the car will not go down well with the wife
