Default Classic lowering springs...... How low???

A while back I fitted a set of Eibach pro spring kit to my 93 WRX

Although they are lowered springs, I didnt really notice a difference in the height although I am happy with the difference in ride compared to standard set up.

Has any one fitted some proper lowering springs -40 + and if so what make were they? Any photos much appreciated

I have considered coilovers for going so low but dont think I can afford them

cheers Phil.

I wouldn't go any lower than a 30mm drop on a classic mate, you'll impair the ride and handling.

I don't mind about the harshness etc of the ride.

Cheers I understand going too low will affect the handling

Just that the gap between tyre and arch is a little high for my liking

As the WRX is about 20mm lower than a UK turbo, a set of 25mm lowering springs for a UK turbo won't lower your's! (it will have sagged at least 5mm by now!)

What about fitting STI shocks?

Maybe 17" wheels will improve the gap between the arch and tyre.

How does this compare to yours? So to speak

V5 Sti shocks and springs, 17" with 215 /45 fitted on them.

I thought sti and eibach springs were about the same rate. I could be wrong.

Going to compare Whiteline flatout now to the likes of Apex.

Cheers
