Default tyres rubbing??

hi i have a 2000 turbo x reg and have owned it for 6 weeks now but when im hooning it around corners etc with people in the car i get quite bad tyre rub on the rears?
When pressing down on the boot it comes straight back up with no bounce and when driving it feels solid and firm over bumps etc and feels fine?I took it to my freind at my local tyre and battery centre and he said that it has got the wrong offset wheels on there and the wrong size tyre which i knew as they are 205/55/16.As you can see in the pics the wheels stick out quite far but i still think that there is to much roll as you can see in the rubbing lines on the tyre.i have some kei racing fin 7 17" wheels coming this week so hopfully that will help but i still tink it shouldnt be rubbing this bad even with the wrong offset wheells or is this amount of roll normal for a scoob?

Thanks
Adam

Just a shot to show you the scoob after a good clean

can u take a wheel off and see if the offset its stamped on the inside,
You wanna be careful with those tyres now they have slashes on them.
