2006 WRX Hawkeye rear suspension
Hi there
Does anyone know if the Hawkeye suffers from the "Dreaded" rear strut knocking syndrome?
My 2006 has covered 33k now and i am sure the o/s rear strut is beginning to knock
if it is the case will the Warranty cover it bearing in mind i have 18" Ultralites on the car now together with TSL Group N exhaust - i have heard some stealers can be a little funny when you start moving away from standard
Anyone know what Carstins at Balsall Common are like? - this is my normal dealer (they supplied the car new)
i have heard that Cross Roads at Treadington are much more mod friendly.
any advise apreciated
Cheers
Kev

i bought a 55 plate wrx from carstins a few months back, with 30000 on the clock put a front and rear strut brace on after about 3 weeks i noticed the dreaded knocking sounds from the back took it back to them and they at first were only going to change the one rear shock but they decided that they should do both under warranty ..... ,,
