Hey Shawn its Rich. Get some mate, you know you wanna, then you can tell me me what they're like. No seriously they are the best kit out there aside from your £10,000 Ohlins. British made too, which means they are much better suited to our roads.

Would love to hear feedback on these too as I'm considering a set for my 2005 Sti, especially from anyone who has driven a car with these and the AST coilovers, as I had a set of AST's on my last classic. Does anyone know also if any of the guys who sell EXE-TC's (say for example Zen) actually have a demo car available for a run before commiting to the purchase ?
Thx !

I ran exe-tc's on the Evo and they were excellent. Trying to resist the urge to spend on the Impreza so haven't bought any for it.... yet

Terminator X - Rich is correct in what he's said and as for why not stick with Subaru Spec C shocks, well this is the third set of rear Spec C shocks that have failed on me (In 50,000 miles). If you check out how much these cost to import then I've already spent as much money on them as the best after market set up would cost me in the first place.
Basically I've given up with the standard Subaru crap!!!
Hasn't your Spec C suffered from the knocking shock problem?

Sorry for the thread dig here, but I think I'm suffering from the same knocking. I take it this is common, even on the Spec C? Are the Spec C shocks specific to the Spec C? i.e. I can't just order some from the local stealer?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
retain your springs cause thats the part which makes the car sit that bit lower, but as far as i am aware, the shocks are the same as the STI ones. Problem is that they will start to knock again. How soon or how long that will be is anyone's guess.
Hope that helps

Well I must be lucky because I have done countless trackdays/scoobyshootouts/B roads and have still not had problems with mine just wondering if with them been adjustable there is a differance within the seals etc over standard.

Gussy, I think your up rated STI rear suspension components allow the suspension to work more fluently. We find fitting STI’s optional pink trailing arms to a car will improve the ride quality and how the suspension works.
