SUBARU IMPREZA STI ADJUSTABLE COILOVER SPRING KIT - eBay Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 11-Oct-07 14:37:34 BST)

I saw these on ebay, by the sounds of it, they lower your car on standard shocks, would i be right in thinking these would dammage your shocks if lowered?

Any info on these would be great
Cheers!

No, you can fit lowering springs without causing issues with the shocks.

However, I would stick with a reputable brand of springs, like the Eibach kit, or Prodrive, and not some turn your non coilovers into coilovers ebay tat.

Right i see, would you need the geomotry setting up after changing the springs? even with a decent brand of lowering spring?

You will and get it done by an Impreza independent specialist for best results.

Default 2002 STI getting Prodrive springs - GEO needed

Good info. I'm getting my Prodrive springs fitted next week. Anyone know of an Impreza independent specialist in Northern Ireland?

Or even of where to get the recommended geo settings for fast street use that can be provided to the garage?

I do know that Charles Hursts at Queens Island have the equip, but don't know about their settings library for 02 STI's on PD springs.

Advice appreciated

There is a lot of info on there with mild to wild settings that are proven for your car.
Evil site to work with, but you will find what you need eventually.
