Default Geometry

Been quoted 50 + vat from a dealer for the geometry set-up.

Does this seem a little cheap - have seen people quoted over £100 for this.

Having some Prodrive springs fitted so will probably have the Prodrive settings as well.

I know most people will probably say go to Powerstation etc but what would be done differently by the various places ?

Too cheap imho.
A full chassis set-up will take a good hour + if not 2 hours if all goes well.
Graham.
Power station do know what they are doing.

Although you generally get what you pay for, sometimes there are pleasant surprises!

Mine cost approx £40 (from memory) took an hour or two, included giving me a "before" print out, then changing front camber, front and rear track, and then giving me an "after" print out with a full explanation of what was done.

The place was spotless used the latest Sun laser alignment rig and I was amazed at the high standard of service for such a low cost.

Car felt fantastic after it as well.

I didn't have time to go to Powerstation, found this guy local to me and got excellent results, under £100 I think?

Cheers people.

Getting the springs fitted in a couple of weeks - dealer also advised waiting around 1k miles or so to let the springs settle and bed in before getting the geometry done.

Still undecided but have a bit of time to ponder

That is spot-on, I'm moving down there in about 8-weeks and was leaving the suspension changes until after I moved. My next question was ging to be where to get the alignment done.

Cheers mate, saved me a load of time

It depends on what they need to adjust but 1 hours labour seems a fair compromise.

Its like other parts they charge $x for an oil change but do it a lot quicker.etc.etc
