Had LEDA B suspension fitted on my bug-eye this week.
WOW!
I have to admit that I thought the handling was OK before, but now it's a complete revelation. It's quite a lot firmer, for sure, but it still isn't at all harsh, even over the sppedbumps that litter the place around here.
And as for looks, judge for yourself

Oddly enough, Dave, yes.
Very much like that.
You want to send me a copy of your salary transfer to the Bank of Croney so's I can copy it?
BTW, could someone please tell me how to put smileys in my posts?

There are adjustable spring platforms, and you can alter the ride height =/-50mm or so IIRC on MY01 Leda.
HOWEVER, Leda and Pete Croney spent an incredible amount of time setting the kit up as it is, if you drop it more than ours, you will totally destroy the ride and handling, and it would be a complete and utter dog to drive on the road (look good in Lax Power perhaps though )

I believe the Ledas are adjustable. Is this just the spring pre-load or damping as well?
I want suspension that is soft and comfortable for road, but rock-hard for track. Can I do this with Ledas on my UK00 and if so is the adjustment quick and easy to set and then re-set?
Thanks,
Richard.

Richard,
LEDA B on the MY01 is adjustable for preload (they give you a HUGE 'C' spanner) and damping (24 way adjustment by just turning a **** on each strut).
You want rock hard? Just crank the damping up to, say, 16. 6 is standard for the road...

SB, that's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks. I haven't paid Pete Croney much money lately. Guess I knew that wasn't going to last
Cheers,
Richard.
