Whiteline drop links fitted (with pics)
I have just finished off fitting whiteline anti roll bar drop links front and rear. Wow, what a difference its made. I fitted the rears first last week, and now I have upmost confidence in what my rear end is upto. No more is it gonna under or over worry moments 
There not the all signing alloy one just the metal jobbies, but they are a dam sight better than than the plastic jobs that were there orignally.
Got the fronts on today, they look like there at a weird angle but I assure you thats how they fit on (followed the instructions me
), had to disconnect both sides to get them in as there shorter than orignals, and it also seems to have lowered the car by pulling it closer down to the ground which cant be a bad thing 
Cant recomend these enough if you have no trust in your suspension at the mo, great mod, especially for £40 a pop.

What difference do you feel now you have the fronts done?
I have the rear ARB, droplinks and subframe locking bolts which has tightend up the rear considerably - I'm just a little worried that changing the fronts will result in the understeer coming back!

Are thoes front ones for the alloy wishbones? theres different ones for the alloy wishbones and I had to take my whiteline ones back.
My front droplinks were the metal ball joint ones so didnt bother changing them in the end as there not suppose to have much give in them anyway.

They are metal front and back. Now the fronts are done it feels like there is more deadweight to the steering. Feels more settled in high speed turns and defo less body roll front the front. On the downside it seems like there is more dive under braking from the front. Im not sure what I prefer. There seemed to be more adjustability in slow turns and was slightly twitchy in high speed bends without the fronts on.

AFAIK the front droplinks shouldnt look like that when using alloy arms...
Is yours an STi?
what type front links did you remove? were they made like the rears but shorter or where they thin metal ones with ball joints top and bottom?
If im right the alloy arms need a different type drop link, which whiteline do for about £70...

Sti? Good question! I have never been able to work it out. Its a 1994 Imported by me on '02. It has a sti sticker across the bottom of the boot and an alloy bonnet so could be a the rare v1 sti, but I have no idea how else to identify it as the v1 dont come with red headers or anything like that and only rev to 7k. Ive always taken it to be a wrx. Originally the front links were of the twin balljoint variety. And again there not alloy, there metal ones.

I dont mean the ball joint links are alloy... the arm they attach to are alloy
which if I remember right are only fitted to STi's however I have a 1993 WRX and this has these alloy bottom arms but it isnt an STi. I have seen the other type bottom arm which looked like pressed steel and have plastic drop links which go straight up to the anti-roll bar. Yours are on one hell of an angle as the alloy arms have an angled bracket which is why the ball joint links were used and is why I dont think the links you have fitted are right for that bottom alloy arm.
I bought the same links and asked if they were right for that arm and I was told they werent you need the whiteline STi links which are like £70 but I was also told the metal ball joint links are just as stiff as the whiteline ones so I havent bothered changing them.
Like I said I am only going off what other people told me so the message could have got mixed up some where along the line but im pretty sure the links aint suppose to be on that sort of angle.

although the picture isnt there it looked exactly like your front one does but I think he had the heavy duty alloy links but they were on the extream angle yours are on aswell.

Yup, the more I drive it, the more I think you lot are right! Now changing the subject to a slighty diff angle......on GT4 when I set up my cars susp, I have my front bar set to one and rears up high, Im thinking of maybe totally disconnecting the front bar? I do like the back end to come round on demand, as it suits my style. Do you think this would be wise to try off of a PS2?
