I have another problem with my 93 WRX ! Giving me jip at the moment bless it. Anyway, when really hooning it round a right hander, when the car is full under cornering load, with throttle pretty much planted, when the inside front wheel gets a bit light, the steering wheel starts to wobble quite severely ! It's pretty unnerving ! It's as if something is really loose but it feels fine under slow cornering conditions and normal cruising. It only happens when really on the edge of grip and I have my foot planted powering rear down and lifting the front wheels whilst powering out of a corner....anyone know anything??

Also, I get big steering wheel wobble when braking sometimes. It's not really repeatable, because if cruising nicely at 80 then I slam on the anchors there's no woblle whatsoever (just fitted new godpseed drilled and grooved front discs - which are wicked by the way), but anyway, after I've done alot of cornering and I brake, sometimes whilst turning, the wheel really wobbles and it feels like something is really wrong down there.

Any ideas? I'm a bit stumped !

I reckon its either a bent wheel or a disc warping when hot.

Try swapping your wheels front to rear and see what this does.

Maybe ball joints / steering knuckles are worn, considering the age of the car.

i thought it might be something to do with the suspension bushes as well because they are originals?
