Thinking about eibachs
#1
I know this is a well conversed topic and am completely sold on the idea but have a potential problem.
I have recently had a scoobysport D/P fitted to my my95. It mates to a Blitz centre and back. The car is on standard suspension but when going quickly down back lanes or over speed bumps the exhaust catches the floor!! Not only does this make me jump but I can't think it's doing the zorst any good..
I was thinking about getting the eibachs fitted and having bumpsteer removed but am worried cos the springs lower the car 20mm. This could lead to even worse zorst scuffing
Has this happen to anyone else? Is there any way round this? Really want the suspension sorted but want to keep the zorst aswell!
Cheers

Two things:
1) Is your exhaust fit properly in the first place?
2) The springs will be harder so it shouldnt bottom out to the exhaust as easily despite being an inch lower
Jza

All looks present and correct with respect to the zorst. Since the D/P was fitted I've changed the clutch and the exhaust came off and went back with no problems. The centre rubber was a bit tight though. I've never had these problems until I had the D/P fitted so was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.
