Default Lowering my impreza

Hi,

I am interested in lowering my 2000 impreza.
I am not looking for racing quality suspension, just a better look and with a bit better handling. I would like to lower by 30-40 mm. Would just changing the springs be sufficient, this would give the look i want and obviously slightly stiffer suspension anyway due to the lowering springs being slighty stiffer than stock.
If so, could anyone recommend particular makes.

Anyones opinions on this would be appreciated.

Thankyou.

IMHO:
If you want a simple tweek to your cars:

1
Fit a Whiteline rear roll bar (22mm)
2
Fit Eibach lowering springs all round
3
Fit camberbolts all round
4
Have it aligned by someone realy good, ie Powerstation's Curtis.

That added up is not too expensive, and you need the alignment anyway after the spring change.

You will be pleased with the looks, but amazed at how well it will drive.

Hope that helps.

Eibachs will only lower it 25-30mm at a push though..

Not sure of any lowering springs that will go that far.

22mm rear bar is about £100

Eibachs I "THINK" are £180

camber bolts might not be needed but maximum of two required at £22 each

Alignment £70

and I just noticed it's a classic so change the alignment price to £140 and have the bumpsteer done as well.
