Hi Bren,

I've got Avo coilovers on my MY96 WRX. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with them, although it took me a while to find a set-up that I liked (a compromise between handling and comfort). Spring rates are 250lb front and 200lb rear and to start with it seemed as though they didn't really match the shocks. However, once they had settled in they were a lot better. Having said that, I have the front shocks on the hardest setting but the ride is not uncomfortable at all.

I have got avo's as well but i am still trying to get a decent setup at present front kind of bottoms out i have it dropped by 15mm was twenty but took it up to tryand compensate a bit is this happening to only mine or are they supposed to be like that i know that coilovers do not have rubber components but this is rather harsh going back to fitter to get some rubber thingys sent in by Avo put on em this week will let you know if any diiference.

I had quite a few problems with Avo coilovers. Had them fitted for about 7 monthes. First they started leaking after only a few monthes old. Got them replaced/repaired and only after two weeks they were leaking again!. I was on my way down to get them replaced for the second time when one of the rear shock snapped in half!. I have now recived a refund for them and now i'm trying out the standered struts with Bilstein inserts and Eibach springs. Maybe I just had a bad kit to start with!!
