Cost me about £400 all in, can't say what the car rode like before hand as I fitted them before collecting my 04.

Still a hell of alot more comfortable then the STi Type R I has before

Fritz, I have the Prodrive Spring kit on my WRX and it is one of the best mods we have done. Really makes a difference to the handling. I would recommend. £365 all in from Eden Subaru in Fife.

Cheers

Had mine done at Powerstation - don't believe there are any warranty issues from not having it done at main dealers as long as you use genuine Prodrive springs..

paid £175 For the springs and fitted them myself. I am fitting whiteline arb and drop links tomoorow in final preparation for brands on monday.
You notice more bounce on the new springs but holds the road well.

BX; has the ride height dropped anymore yet..?
The uprated ARB and DL's are well worth it. Let us know how you get on, on Monday..!

BTW which dealer gave you trade..?

thanks for all the comments guys, want to lower it so 18" wheels fill arches more and the front end does seem to sit pretty high, and also improve handing because i feel it doesnt handle as well as my classic used to. do the springs make it too firm though?

I had Prodrive springs on my bugeye WRX.

The order I fitted the stuff:-

Powerflex rear droplinks - tightened up back end slightly but effect wore off after a few days as you got used to it.

Prodrive springs - got used to the increased stiffness and car felt more settled, especially on cornering as the loading increased but it didn't really sort out the "floaty" feeling. Also had the Godspeed 335 kit on and they helped with the extra bit of dive created on the front axle if you went for the anchors... Used to find as well that the soft sidewalls on the eagle F1s became the suspension as these gave more than the springs so effectively the suspension adjustment was via the tyre pressures.

Whiteline adjustable ARB on middle setting - big change in handling - took a bit of time to get used to and I felt sick on the way home from having it fitted due to the extra g-force you could pull round corners. Middle setting was OK for me. If you really caned it into a corner and then stood on the brakes the back end would go light and skip about - all down to driving "style" I had at the time but you learn from the brown trouser moments
