Hi,

This noise has just started.

When braking from say 70 approaching junction/roundabout, and going through the gears, I randomly get a double clunk coming from the front end of the car.

It seemed to be when getting into 3rd gear, but today doing 20mph and braking into 2nd gear I got the double clunk again.

I also did some emergency stop testing today but no sign of the double clunking.

Strange.

My car is a MY02 STI with:
• AST Sportline Adjustable Coilovers
• STI Front strut brace
• STI Rear strut brace
• Whiteline Anti lift/Castor kit
• Whiteline Rear drop links
• Whiteline 22mm rear adjustable sway bar
• Whiteline 22mm front anti roll bar

Could this perhaps be the front drop links on their way out ?

Any suggestions of what to look for ?
