Rattling noise from rear on overrun only
My RA has been lowered on the coilovers by about 40mm, group N bushes at the rear, a 22mm ARB and has TEIN, suspension which is quite hard. The drive shafts are angled upwards and I am starting to think that it is the lowering which is causing the noise. Diff and drive shafts have been swopped over and no change in noise. Used camber bolts at about 2 degrees neg.
Anyone had a similar problem.
Thanks

Yes, me.
My suspension is more radical than yours, and I get quite a disconcerting metal-to-metal rattle on over run.
I think you need to check the clearance/marks on the exhaust pipe by the rear diff housing.
Static, the clearance may look fine, but on the overrun the torque transmits to the engine via the diff etc and twists the engine such that it closes the gap to the diff housing sheet metalwork just enought to 'buzz' through the chassis.
I have solid mounts on the rear diff so the noise transmits in a very efficient way!
Take a look.
I'm re-doing mine this weekend as the attack I made on the rumble strips/scenary last weekend has made it a bit more vocal
