Default Eibachs, How much drop?

I've recently fitted some Eibach spirings to my classic and there only seems to be about 5mm of lowering. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with them as they definatly feel a lot stiffer than the originals, it's just that I wouldn't have minded a 30mm ish drop for a bit of stlying too

Has anyone else noticed this?

Paul my mate has eibach springs on his classic and it certainly isn't low he also expected more of a drop, looks rather standard but handling is better my brother has chassis dynamics on his with these you notice the drop

Put some on my RB5 and didn't get the drop either!
Are good springs though for a gentle ride at slow speeds and firmer when you start chucking it about.

Greetings Paul!

I am having mine fitted tommow - so I'll let you know, but I agree with other comments on this thread - on other cars (most have had eibach springs) it took about 2 weeks / 1000 miles before they settled fully!

Wohooooo!!! Nearly 1 week in and I'm up to 7mm!!! I'm gonna do the rears this weekend (inertior already stripped out and it's VERY noisey!!) so I'll see how much the back drops.

Mark,
From what I've read it seems that you'll have more drop on your Blobeye

I have the Prodrive Handling pack on my classic, which uses Eibach springs on Bilstien shocks, and parked next to a Scoob on standard suspension mine looks about 35mm lower.

Well, I did the rear this weekend and that went down by about.........

nothing!!

But it does drive soooo much better
I'm starting to think that maybe it had some lowered springs on to start with? I'm gonna have to park next to another classic

I got mine from Power engineering. I ordered them at JAE and got them VAT free!!
You might be better of waiting unitl one of the shows (trax is in 2 weeks) to see if you can get a deal

LOWERING UPDATE

Front 10mm
Rear 7mm
Think that's gonna be about it!!
I dont think that the classics drop that much?
