Definately love some pictures! Also, what is the ride like with the wheels and springs combo, do the wheels rub on the arches and is your friend running standard shocks?

I run 18`s along with H&R springs on my classic.
They rub using standard shocks, and 215/35x18 tyres.

They dont rub badly, just on the arch though, not the suspension.

After a good run you can see the rubbing marks on the rear tyres.

I have these fitted and they don't lower it 50mm more like 35mm, I think they lower a standard impreza 50mm but the turbo sits about 15mm lower anyway.
Plenty of room with 17's.

Even -35mm on standard dampers can destroy the handling though!!

they silver one on that link akka is a guy who lives round the corner from me. he had tein fully adjustable coilovers set to about -80mm!

i've got hks coilovers set to about -65mm at the moment but they just too hard for road use, i usually end up bouncing round any corners that aren't perfectly flat!

stickymicky - cheers for the pic but do you have a side view to see the arch gap?

Bloody hell 80mm! bets thats a terrible ride! I think H&R -50mm are going to be the best option, although the car in this link eth the H&Rs doesn't look very low.

Each to their own. It's just more important to me that the car handles well rather than looks low!!!

I wouldn't say that mine looks that low either, but, at least i can still get over speed bumps...and the car really does handle quite well.

Just need to get me some drop links etc...
