Are they available yet??

Has anyone had them fitted yet??

Thanks

Mark,

Bilstein only just bring out coilovers ?

I'm positive I ran Bilstien c/o on my UK94 last season. It was horrendously hard. Was proper tarmac rally car stuff set up for Belgium.

Going for STi Pink (22B) now for something more supple.

Thanks

Mark

To clear this one up....

Competition spec. Bilstein tarmac/gravel coilovers etc. are available and have been for ages (but big big price tag and I think only available from Subaru/ProDrive ??).

Bilstein are about to release a road going kit that are also coilovers and height adjustable, bump/rebound etc.

This kit will no doubt be excellent for road/track use.

To answer the question, I'm told is it due for release very very soon.

Cheers

Ian

IWatkins,

Thanks for that

I was using the competition stuff (it was very heavy duty). The road going coilover does sound interesting.
I do need it very soon (Before Sept Hillclimb)

Cheers

Thanks for info Ian.

I was looking to see if anyone had it yet. I would like to get suspension sorted in the next 6 weeks but do not know what to buy. Leda would be the obvious choice but as I am up in Scotland it adds alot on the price if I have to go down to ScoobySport/Leda to get it fitted. The other question would be would normal Bilstein with Eilbach springs offer much more improvement over standard WRX dampers and uprated springs like I have just now or do I wait and get the Bilstein coilovers. The Bilstien kit I can get fitted local at Greersport.

Who knows?? I am very confussed and need to be clear in my head before I spend that kind of money.

Thanks
Mark

I inquired into these with Powerstation and they said that they had ordered some and were waiting for them to come in. They are supposed to be e-mailing me when they have them in stock.
Will post here when I have more details.

I spoke to Bilstein last week about another subject but asked about this new kit. It will be out in about 5 weeks time and will cost approx. £950.

Yes I have Bilstein coil overs in my Legacy have had them now for 4 years. I have STI springs 420lb front 320lb rear but they were far to hard with the Bilsteins in, so put a new set 200lb front and rear. But you can get the bilsteins valved how you like, my ones are race valved, standard they are a street comp valving.

Not may cars if any can keep up with my car now on the track or the road.
