Alignment? where in the NE?
#1
I'm sure this has been asked b4 but I cant find an answer in the archives so here is it again. Anyone know of a suitable garage located in the NE that can carry out camber adjustments (preferably with reasonable accuracy). All centres i've rang sofar will only entertain the usual toe-in adjustment.

I did speak to Swiftmotorsport in Peterlee, but they were a bit vague as to wether they could do the job, & how much it would cost. They basically said bring it and they'd have a look, at 30quid an hour maybe 3 hrs work maybe more (& bumpsteer mod not even mentioned just camber/toe-in check adjust). They also couldnt check front to rear alignment. All too vague for me, I could be wrong they might have down loads but if they had i'd expect a more definitive knowledge of the job.
I've also asked at Revolution who suggested a National Tyre place as a possiblilty but all the National garages I've rang couldnt even check camber.
Anyone got any hints out there?

I clobbered two alloys and had them replaced by Dennis Common at Longframlington (Subaru Dealer). They did an alignment check for safety. I get my 5door turbo serviced there and they are excellent and good value.
The Bumpsteer mod is a bit more specialised but I do reccommend you call Revolution Motorsport in Gateshead. They own and race several Scoobs and stock heaps of performance kit. Give them a call and see if they can help.

I've asked at Revolution and the only advise they could offer for alignment was try a National tyres place, rang all those local none could do a camber check/adjust. Maybe I spoke to wrong bloke?
