Eibach's or ALK+ARB's
Opinions Please,
I find that the car (MY98 5 door) rolls quite a bit in the corners and suffers from a good bit of front end lift when accelerating hard, after reading the previous topic on upgrading the springs I'm considering this, but as a lot of the roads I travel on are quite bumpy I'm a little unsure about changing the springs. Would I be better adding a ALK or ARB's?
Any comments would be welcomed (well any constructive comments, that is).

I had a MY98 5 door and it did not handle anywhere near as well as my MY00 4 door with the Prodrive suspension mods. I think the extra weight of the 5 door being quite high up also tends to raise the centre of gravity a tad, not much, but enough to effect enthusiastic cornering, creating a bit more roll.
You will get dozens of recommendations for suspension mods. I like the Bilstein/Eibach combination with a firm walled tyre (I have 17" P Zero's). It isn't that much harder than the orginal, but the changes in handling are dramatic. I can do a 250m motorway and A-road journey without feeling as though I was in a torture chamber (I tried this once in an Evo 6 and I was glad to get out of the car). I can also throw the beast around tight bends with the confidence it will behave.
My vote goes with the Eibach's, particularly if you do a lot of road work.

I was in the same boat - wanted better handling but didn't want the ride affected as I do a lot of B road journeys.
I fitted the Anti-Lift kit and rear sway bar links. This has improved the car no end - it still understeers mildly but is far more enjoyable to drive.
I would recommend this route and if necessary, change the anti-roll bar bushes to firm up the handling further (if desired). I personally haven't felt the need to do this...

I would recommend the Eibachs and getting the suspension geometry set-up for neutral handling.
Oh, and I had an Anti-Lift kit on my previous car and have Eibachs on the current one, so I have tried both of these products.

Moray, when you say get the car set up for neutral handling, what exactly does that mean?. At present the car has the Prodrive settings, do you mean return them to normal?
