Low speed knocking at the rear...

It's not the exhaust...
Really low speed (<5 MPH) knocks, even on pretty smooth surface coming through to the cabin..
Not evident at 'moving' speeds...
I have the Prodrive fitted suspension; Eibach/Bilstein lowered combo, in case this is relevant.

Hi Al...
As it is so intermitent, I've noticed it more over the past few weeks as I now know its there. I've had the car for some 4 months now and it was fitted at prodrive as part of the PPP, External and Internal fittings they put on as part of the 100 WR special run.

Hi Alan
I had the same suspension set-up as yourself can't say that i had noticed the noise just learnt to live with it. I have since up-graded to some Leda-B coilovers the noise went but as now the colder weather is here it's back. I spoke to several suppliers inc leda tech dept and they said it was to do with the top-mounts rubbers/bearings wearing out. Barretts motorsport told me it has to do with the oil vicosity and the size of the shim stacks. Just have to live with it for the time being as i don't want to buy new top mounts if thats not going to sort it out.If you raise the stakes in one area you need to raise them all round
