From cold when I go over bumps I get a loud squeak from the suspension front and rear. After a few mins driving this goes and I never hear it again until I drive the car from cold again.

I have no idea if the suspension has been modified on my scooby however I have a strut brace and mudflaps fitted.

Any ideas? Or is this normal?

I drive a 94 WRX RA.

it may simply be some of the suspension bushes a bit dry, so as they warm up, they expand a bit, resolving the noise. Could try spray lubricating the bushes, see if it grdually works its way in and clears for a while, but be careful not to overspray any onto the back of the brake discs, can give you a "moment or three" when you press the brake pedal !!

I sprayed my Whiteline drop links with Teflon spray at the weekend and the difference is amazing - sounds like a brand new car.

Feels better too - placebo ??
