I've been told that KYB manufacture the Subaru OEM dampers. Is this correct?
The reason for asking is that mine are shot and I've ordered a set for the rear which are about half the cost of the OEMs which almost seems too good to be true....
Any takers?

Yes it is true, they do make them. If you have ordered them from somewhere other than a Subaru dealer, I would expect them to be cheaper as there is no additional profit tagged on!
