hard ride !!!!

posted a few weeks ago... picked up my 97 turbo a month or so ago now. Havind difficulty coming to terms with the harsh ride. Wife going nuts at the way the car bounces all over the road. Finally figured out how to upload pictures so can anyone offer advice on this setup. Do the dampers look standard.. I'm sure the springs aren't. happy to stick on a set if eibach but will get hammered by the missus if i have to change dampers and springs...any advice??

difficult to tell with the dampers but i`m sure the spring are`nt standard. just changed the suspension on my my97 turbo and the springs were`nt red.

Does it look as if the cars been lowered?
I reckon somebody has decided to uprate the springs to the max stiffness, something I did when I was younger with a Lotus Sunbeam, ended up with an undriveable car, have learnt my lesson now

9 times out of 10 the car will be sat lower if the springs are firmer than standard.
Do you have access to any one elses my97 on standard set up? That will let you know if yours are harder / lower.
I have a set of my97 standard springs in my garage at the moment and they are black. I'm 99.999999% certain your springs arnt uk my97 standard springs.
The flip side is if you go back to standard your ride height will climb. Some dont mind (like me), others prefer to drag their nadds along the floor!!

Thanks for all the help... guess the best bet is to just let somebody look at it....
PS I had hosed them down for the photograph so I hope they arent leaking !!!!..
