As far as I understand it, the car may make some knocking noises and may feel a little "wooly" at the back. (Depends how badly worn)
If you mean the drop link things, they are apparently an easy thing to fit yourself, and solid aftermarket ones are available (I think there was a group buy) £60 for the pair is a bit steep! Are you getting the rollbar bushes as well for that? IIRC scoobymania do some solid droplinks for around £50 for the pair.
Hoep I've got the right bit of the car, otherwise I'm going to look more a prat than normal!

Solid drop links £48 i think.
Would highly reccommend them, pi$$ easy to change and make a world of difference. Best cheap mod available IMO. I have just done the rears for now cause I am still waiting for my fronts to turn up from Australia but just changing the back ones helped loads.
Mail me for any more info/comments.

When did Powerflex start making Anti-Roll Bars???? Bushes would that be?
Sorry - couldn't resist - like they said, easy to fit and shouldn't take long....(and you'll like the improved response of the back end (oooo eerrrr )

Matt,
Those drop links that Nathan fitted on this thread could be Powerflex as he listed the part number PFF69-200 which would appear to be very similar to their Impreza coding. Worth a few phone calls to confirm this though.

True, but a) I thought they were made for TSL and supplied only by TSL b) I double checked Powerflex's website and could find no reference to anything other than bushes!

I will have 2 check out the box i have at home then as it's wot they came in, has powerflex on outside & is a pointlessly large box if it only had the bushes in 2 start with as it is currently holding my OE drop link + bushes

BTW just looking at the box i got when i bort the 4mentionned goodies & the powerflex box does only appear to say bushes on the outside. Although sticker on the back says "PFR69-200 impreza all types Rear anti roll bar link kit 2 per car 2 in this pack" & as i say box is the size of the link things which is cunning since they came in it lol
Hope that helps?
Si
(editted kuz i got code rong which aint guna help!)

Si,
In plain english please (for once ), what are you saying? That this particular kit is only available at TSL? (what is the kit in question?) I ask because there are plenty of drop links and bushes around.....

1st t!m3 4 ed3ryt1n y4? lol
No but seriously all i was trying to say was that the "rear anti roll bar link kit" which came in a powerflex box with powerflex bushes as i mention in my previous eloquent post was purchased from TSL. On my return trip today to sort my clutch out i inquired about the situation with these. Paul/trouser said that the supplier had e-mailed a number of people & he got back to them & took them off their hands in a how many do you want how many do you have style So i'm not saying you wont find them elsewhere but the ones i currently have on me car are great & TSL have plenty (i believe) & they are the dogs do dahs (duz dat count as inglish, as sod it ) & they r a shed load better than the crappy price the thread starter woz being told!!
Si (& i can smell er i mean spell u c lol)

Because (as I said on the other thread), I already have the (nasty looking (but who really cares )) Whiteline drop links and bushes but was interested for "next time"
Si, se you can do it when you try and I actually understood the middle bit (but it's "I" not "i" )

U lot is fookin mad
Ed
Yep they have made a difference to the car. Before I fitted them the back end didn't like to pull round sharply on tight corners. Now when you push it hard into a bend the back end just follows rond nice and tight without wallowing or drifting. Oooer.
Nathan..

Just fitted Powerflex Solid Rear Drop Links & Powerflex Rear ARBs & the car is MUCH better
On some of my fav corners near where I live its 5mph up without even thinking about it (for the squeamish amongst you, I live in the country & the corners are 50mph max with nice clear exit views), the back-end seems a lot (I would say) smoother round the corners, no drifting, so able to be tighter
To fit the lot was a piece of cod & took about 40 mins all in
Need a longer test but big cheesy grin already
