Anti-lift & geometery done
#1
Today i had Whitelines anti-lift kit fitted at at Scoobysports, for what they charged it wasn't even worth considering crawling around under the car, i'd fitted MRT rear drop links earlier in the week myself.... from there it was straight down to Elite and have the Prodrive geometry settings applied ... WOW, a huge difference , where the car would understeer it now just grips and sticks, plus its now alot more steerable via the throttle in a bend.
One down side i have to get used to is there is a noticable amount more vibration/noise coming up through the front suspension due to the harder bush material on the anti lift kit ... can't have it always i guess

Well they said they knew what the Prodrive setting were at Elite, SIDC site says 1mm toe-in (each side) and max camber on the front.
When i asked what they would set the toe-in to, the guy said 1 degree, but then said or it maybe 10 minutes ?.. 1mm on a 16 inch rim, which is what i have is actually 16.9 minutes ... anyway i wanted 10 minutes/side front and 5 minutes/side rear .... the rear camber on my car is at 1 degree neg (fixed) so had the front set the same.
