I'm after a rear strut brace for a MY00 wagon. I've search the posts and picked up on the STi, whiteline and Cusco. Does anyone know if these (exception to STi - is it a really 5DR brace PTMW?) or any others will fit with the rear roll-cover or whatever it is on....silly plastic blind

If they do can anyone point into the direction of suppliers, preferably in the UK.

Thanks in advance

Ian

Cusco on 5 door doesn't foul the load cover, but does tighten things up nicely

Thanks D and D. Where did you buy the Cusco one from, is it the 2-point or 3-point brace?

Are they easy to fit or do I need the geometry set-up as well?

Thanks in advance

I fitted one on my 4 dr. Didn't get the geom done, but some say it should be. (if you don't load up the brace and move the towers you haven't changed the goem.)IMO

I got mine in For sale.
But you could call:
-RC Developments: 01606 78606 www.rcdevelopments.com
-Option motorsport: 01327 858555

It really does stiffen the rear up

Hope that helps,
Iain.

Cusco on a 00MY 5Dr.....big improvement.

You need to cut the plastic top-caps, on-top of the suspension turrets...

Loadcover works fine.

Comes in two parts - bar accross the top of the turrets. Second Y-piece bolts to this and the floor of the boot!!!!!!!!

I`ve only got the bar at the mo.......not cheap though!

Cool

Got mine from JW Racing. Banner ad on here. Was a Cussco.
Easy to fit, plastic strut covers to cut a little bit out of and load cover is OK.
Delivery was abit extended.
Do not move car or jump about in it while fitting and geometry should not change.
