Cool

I don't really want to say who fitted them but I had it done in England in Cheltenham.
It sounds like I have the same problem as you but it seems only to be on the passanger side and mine is lower on this side than the drivers side, I am going to my dealer tomorrow for something else so I will chuck it on a ramp and see if anything is obvious.

I had a set of Eibachs fitted & the geometry reset !
It has now come to light that one of the springs is not in the top mount properly so they will need refitting
I assume that the geometry will need refitting ?
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM ?
Cheers

THEY HAVE TO BE FITTED IN APRTICULAR WAY

Guys,
Sounds like the spring top mount is not orientated the right way round!!! So the spring hits the inner wing. Does it knock on full lock as well?
There is a hole on the outside edge of the top plate this should point out/away from the car.(It's quite hard to find but it is there!)

If it is this you will need the geom done again!!

If it's not that, make sure the springs are the right way up!! It has been known

Hope you get it sorted,
Iain.

Cool

Cheers for the info Iain

Mine knocks nearly all the time and it seems to be getting worse, either that or the roads are getting worse, I will have a look to day but if what you say is correct and mine are fitted wrong it is tough luck really as I ain't driving back to England to get it sorted out.

they was i checked mine was to measure the gap between the top of the wheel and the wheel arch ie vertically up
if this differs this may well be your problem !
