Default Eibach Lowering Springs - Knocking

Hi All,

I have just fitted a set of Eibach lowering springs and 18" wheels on my Newage WRX (Standard Shocks)

Im having a problem where as if i go over a large bump such as a speed bump i get a knocking on the front right hand side.

Any ideas what i could check?

Also the rear of the car especially the drivers side is rubbing when people are in the back, the passenger side doesnt tend to do it.

Any ideas on these problems? i dont want to swap them back to the original springs unless i have to?

Thanks

Chris

The springs chatter over speed humps, you can sheath the top coils to prevent it. In the end i removed mine and fitted h&r springs which are 10x better spring in a newage. Eibach newage are just too soft for uk road imo

Rubber tube around the spring coil.

If they are compressing too much you may need to change the standard bump stops for shorter ones.

If the Eibachs are getting coil bind that's not good. Should never get that IMO.

Are you still using the original drop links and ARB bushes? These may be old now and may need changing. May be that the springs have just highlighted this.
