Default Newage WRX rear arb

What size is the standard rear arb on a blob wrx?

If i wanted to fit an sti version, do you have to change the mounting brackets with it? or just the bushes?

Mite be a daft question, thinking of doing it just want to check whats involved before I start.

17mm I think.

Same brackets, different bushes.

Cool, thanks.

Can you swap it with exhaust in place?

I haven't changed mine yet as that's next months job when it turns up so can't be sure, but I believe so yes you can do it without removing the exhaust.

No need to remove the exahust or even raise the car (although is easier). Getting the ARB back in can be a pain with the exahust on / car not raised though.

I am almost positive they will be 17mm. However you can get under the car to measure the ARB without even jacking the car up. So might be worth checking.

There are a lot of brands of uprated larger bushes but not many people making 17mm uprated ones from what I found. Powerflex do I believe.
