Default Drivers side light blub not lasting long

As describe in the heading , my 04 blobeye drivers side bulb doesn't last very long , I have upgraded to LED ones and the drivers side only lasts about a couple of months if I'm lucky , passenger side has lasted for a year or so and is still going strong , any ideas before I get it checked for voltage surge ? 😡

The lamp socket isn't corroded is it? That can cause overheating and premature failures... Are the wire contacts of the failed bulbs blackened?

Ps forgot to say these are not the cheap LEDs from eBay , these are round £25 a pair so not the cheapest to keep changing them

I'm assuming it's a 501 type LED lamp and they can have wires or solder pads that contact in the bulb holder... Are there any inline connectors in the loom that could be corroded, I'm not familiar with the loom layout on the blobeye.

If it was a voltage surge you would expect it to have the same effect on both lamps.

Thanks , I'm going to put the original ones back in tomorrow ( the ones that are as bright as candles ) and see how long they last and if it goes then I'll get it checked .
