Hi mate,

Could be interested in one. I have compression leaking on 3 out 4 cylinders causing the car not to make the expected power confirmed via a leak Down test.

My car is a 2004 blob sti which already has a semi claws deck block. What would need to be done to fit this?

Where are you based please? I am so close to sending my car to have engine rebuilt with a 2.1. What you have is however a 2ltr forged which is another reason to buy or not. I'm looking for power around 360-370 with an 18g billet but because of my cylinder leaking only making 325!

Explanation and advise appreciated. Also until my engine is taken apart we won't know the damage and whether the crank is still in tact.

If you have had it leakege tested, they should tell you if its piston or valve thats causing the issue, thats the point of a leakdown test rather than a compression test.
I would say your issue is valve related not piston.

Sorry to hear this Chet mate but at least you finally know why your car won't make power.

yeah its a bummer mate. I may even have damage to the block or cylinder but wont be able to tell until the engine has been taken out. Right p1ssed with it all, rather just get a new forged lump put in - no messing about anymore.

Bargain!
Finch motorsport are without doubt one of, if not the best engine builders in the country. If you're looking for a replacement motor look no further.

The rods limit them to around 450 max.

I thought for a minute you were after buying a 2.0, instead of the 2.35 for economy Iain.
