Default 2005 Blobeye STi engine for sale - SOLD

This was sold back in July but the buyer never brought his car in, so has been refunded and it's back up for sale. The engine is from a non modified 05 STi blobeye, the car was running before being stripped. It has been sat on an engine stand since September 2012.

Here's the original breaking thread:

https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-par...sti-parts.html

The engine looks a bit dirty as I took it out in the rain, and the flash seems to have darkened the wet bits, the engine hasn't been fettled with since it was removed. It includes the exhaust headers, alternator, coilpacks, injectors.

I can take a fresh pic if people want it.

Looking for £750.
If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks, Rich.

From memory it was 65000, it was Main dealer serviced up until the last service which was completed by an independant. I'll check if I have any pics of the cluster with the mileage on it. All the documents went with the shell.

It is, but that is all it owes me and I need the space now. It's hard pricing thing too cheap as people think there is something wrong with. At £750, with new belts, tensioner, full service. That's a good engine ready to go for under a grand.

I would imagine a pallet delivery with it on wouldnt cost the earth, as the engine is cheap it is financially worth the cost imo.

Only 3 hours away, pop down on a Saturday and have a night out in Swansea, cheap hotel and pick the engine up Sunday and you'll be home by midday!

Alot of us West Walians use Bob Rawle for mapping, the run ain't too bad.

Advert amended, due to being too far West for most. I'm willing to put the engine on a pallet for collection by a courier.

It will physically fit, but you will need to swap your heads or get an aftermarket ECU, as the newage engine has avcs heads.

Plenty of threads on here about it, here's one.
