Really want to use these parts on my car but dont want to compromise on reliability.. Sod it if they dont sell they're getting fitted!!!!!

i dont think it will harm reliability mate,loads of people run their wrx at 340bhp+ with no problems. you will do more harm by not servicing it at the correct interval and using inferior oils etc.i think as long as you dont thrash when cold/full throttle start etc you should be fine

stop being a ***** and get em fitted

Well ive just had a major service done, changed all the oils etc with millers racing oils so thats not an issue!!

Ah **** it Shreksta you've made my mind up!!! Parts are no longer for sale and are getting fitted!! My mechanic has been talking me out of it but **** him if he doesnt want to fit the parts then so be it i'll get someone else!!!

hahaha good luck with it matey,i think im gonna go for the vf48 with my wrx.

just dont run it at full whack as its a 380bhp turbo then you should be fine

Yes I read a lot about the VF48 before I bought it, sounds like a cracking turbo for the money!! Anyway if my engine or gearbox does go bang expect some abuse!!!!! lol

haha yeah,if its a good strong engine and you use a decent mapper then you should be fine.im gonna use duncan (dynamix) with the open source map with pops and bangs

Mate you wont go wrong with Duncan he mapped my car back last year and fair play he's a top bloke and the mapp was spot on. The engine has only done 60k and Duncan said 'it was very well behaved'!! So i guess the engine is pretty good!!
