Full 6 speed conversion for a classic, only covered 3k
Hi,
I have a complete 6 speed gearbox from a UK sti that has only covered 3,000 miles for sale. It's from a JDM bugeye and the code is E1-TY856WB1AA
It includes the gearbox (non DCCD), cradle, linkage, prop shaft, rear differential, flywheel, 6 puck paddle clutch and starter motor.
Priced to sell at only £1200
Paul

It may be a late UK blob sti box, I'll check the code. Do UK hawkeyes come with DCCD? I don't think it's a hawkeye box.

I believe from the wide track blob onwards the uk Sti came with DCCD unless there was an option of a non DCCD box?

Hmmm, I need to get the code off of the box later to check, maybe it's an earlier UK box

I'd have to get a quote for delivery because it's heavy and there are quite a few parts. I'm in High Wycombe close to the M25 & M40 by the way

Why not the JDM, does the UK have longer ratios?

the UK 6 speed has longer 5th and 6th but in my opinion the JDM ratios are more evenly matched because there's a bit of a jump from 4th to 5th on the UK box.
