Default Forged CDB Stroker Engine 800 Miles

Hi All

Due to a change of direction having replaced my bug with an 06 Hawk the engine build project (link below) has stopped before completing the running in process.

This was the first engine build I had paid for and am a bit gutted that I won't get to see the engine fully run in and mapped to it's potential, however I have no use for it know as the bug it was in has been broke for spares and the engine is on a palet in my garage (pictures to follow).

Due to the Hawk needing to run later AVCS heads which are not compatible with the block I had built I am forced to go down another avenue, I have chosen a pinned 2.5 block.

So what is for sale:

Build carried out by Stewart Taylor of TFS Racing in Aldershot

EJ20 CDB,
Rebore to block,
Block reface,
Carillo H type Rods,
Mahle Pistons,
2.5 Nitrated Crank,
End thrust conversion,
acl bearings,
Block bolt kit,
Arp 12 mm head studs,
Gaskets,
Belts (all new),
P1 heads,
Inlet Manifold.

I think I have covered everything. The oil was changed at 500 miles by TFS, have receipt.

Any questions welcome from members genuinely interested in buying this engine.

Price £3000.

Well, I have been round and round with this one but ultimately took the advice of the mapper I use.

Avcs heads prior to the Hawkeye have an older type avcs sensor that can't be used on a hawk?

I don't want this to turn into a 'should have' thread but do appreciate advice. Committed to this route know as I have bought pinned block, piston, rods, bearings etc.

Cheers.

The picture when the engine was built do show a Cosworth baffle plate however I am planning to use this on my new build.
