3" GRD Full System (Turbo Back Decat)
Fit's Classic or Newage with 4" Jap Style angled exit.
Great Quality Exhaust and nice soundtrack too.
Downpipe comes with upper and lower Lambda holes and Downpipe is also heatwrapped and tied.
Looking for £300.
Prefer buy collects from East Sussex as this system only comes in 2 piece, hence from Downpipe to back is very long.
Piccie showing fitted to car :
Images from GRD Website can be seen here :
http://www.greenwoodracing.co.uk/products_exhausts.asp
Listed as the GRD Race Exhaust (although it does seem to have a shorter Wastegate vent pipe then the one in the images)
Quote : GRD Race Exhaust System - Weighing in at under 16KG`s this exhaust is possibly the lightest on the market - a massive 40% lighter than the standard system. Using fully slip jointed stainless steel construction this exhaust gives exceptionally good flow as it utilises a very straight and smooth exhaust path.
Specification is as our Drag Exhaust System but instead re-vents exhaust gas from the screamer pipe back into the mainpipe reducing noise levels to help comply with both track and road regulations.
Our chosen manufacturer has vast amounts of experiance in motorsport exhaust design and fabrication including building the exhaust system for the McLaren F1 LM where with the help of there free flowing exhaust managed to raise power from 627HP on the standard car to 680HP on the LM.

No idea mate as bought them from a local wheel specialist who has since gone into liquidation. He done a deal as he had them kicking around for a while due to a buyer backing out of a deal.
They are unbranded but he did mention the name but I can't recall. They are apparently Italian and they are Subaru specific fit due to being 5x114 8.5x18 ET46 (IIRC) with the correct centre bore i.e no spigot rings required.
There were Subaru Gold when I got them but had them re-coloured before fitting.

Hi mate, how old is the exhaust? Does it have any defects / visible marks etc?
Also sorry to be stupid but i am new to the Scooby scene, will this fit straight onto my 2003 WRX STI Type UK?
Many thanks, Richard

Hi Richard,
Exhaust is in very good condition with just the usual yellowing and road grime on the stainless downpipe and the underside length.
I polished up the rear silencer and tailpipe when I fitted it, as from new (as seen on their website) the rear box is a dull finish.
Couple of scratches on the underside front edge of the silencer probably from a speed bump or reversing over a curb. But this is not visible when fitted and could probably be machine polished out.
Not sure of it's age, as bought from another enthusiast about 6 months ago.
Having now had Subaru's for over 10 years and a multitude of stainless pipes of various ages and makes, I would guess it's probably not much more then a couple of years old.
It will fit straight onto the 2003 STi, but you will need a remap as a minimum to keep the boost under control. The decat and 3" bore will cause boost to build alot quikcer and hence spike/peak/overboost which isn't good.
Even a mild remap to get the boost under control will make the car much more nimble. But if you are having to pay full price for a remap you may aswell take the oppurtunity of a full remap and push the boost nearer to 1.5bar and reap the benefits of that too.
PM me if still interested.
