Any ideas how easy it is to get hold of top mounts to make them fit a newage and what is involved?

any top mounts will fit mate from a bugeye onwards even standard topmounts

So these would fit a 2005 WRX without buying any different top mounts (and just using the WRX ones)? Sorry if that is a stupid question but I thought meister r made 2 models, one for the classic and one for the newage, so thought it wouldnt be so simple.

yes exactly mate but you will need to change the topmounts on the rear from your original shocks onto the coilovers

yes , the spring rates are adjustable so shouldnt be a problem to adjust them a little firmer for track use
the damping and ride height is also adjustable so shouldnt be a problem
