I paid for a set of driveshafts from jdmchris. The last I heard from him was a promise that he had booked pickup for thursday the 17th. I`ve sent him several mails, asking for a tracking number, and I`ve even told him that I suspect he`s a scammer. No replies at all.

My only choice now is to contact Paypal, hopefully they will reimburse me. I`m pretty sure I`ll never see those driveshafts.

Maybe this is something the mods should take a look at? I`m guessing there might be more cases of this going on, judging from his activity on this forum. He was last online 3 days ago.

due to working away at short notice i have not been able to repaly to anyone im now off for 4 days so every thing will be going the reason i use paypal to offer saftey but work has proper skrewd me and sent me to Angola got back last night at 8 pm and went to bed so sorry for any delays but i have had no choice i like to keep my job..

One - This has not been reported to us, so we are totally unware.

Three - Its generally accepted that the onus is on an individual to be careful with whom they deal with. It is the buyer's money so its their own best interest to ensure they know who they deal with and do the transaction using a means that allows funds to be reclaimed (i.e NOT using gift, and NOT using direct bank transfers).

Finally - Saying "MODS" in a post does not work, as a keyword search will not work properly with that word as it picks up a load of results for "mods" as in "modifcations". You shouldn't rely or expect on us to magically pop up, nor expect us to have any better vetting methods than the payee. I've only tripped across this by pure chance whilst investigating suspect traders.


Jdmchris - either make good of the transaction immediately or refund the money. You should not accept any money from anyone if you are not in the position to to communicate or dispatch the goods! (see sales rules at the top of this section).

im sorry but having to work away was totally out of my control i work for a private security co as a trainer and normally only work in the uk but had to fill in had no choice
im not a messer it was just a bad timing thing and going somwhere with no internet or moblie phone just sat phone and to be honest i had things on my mind like nutters with big knifes .. if you see what i mean.

I suddenly found a tracking number in the Paypal resolution center, but when I check it out I find that the wares haven`t been picked up. I talked to the shipping companys customer department, and they told me that pickup had been ordered and paid for. For some reason that was out of the control of the shipping co, it was never finalized.... It makes sense paying for shipping to buy himself some time though.

I am still waiting for a decision by paypal. Stay clear of this guy, I don`t care what he does for a job. If he isn`t able to complete his transactions, he shouldn`t advertise at all.
