Default V4 STI Type R RA DCCD gearbox TY752VB5CA

Here is the gearbox from my 1998 Subaru Impreza Version 4 STI Type-R. I sent it off for a quote to a gearbox specialist & due to a misunderstanding they went ahead & rebuilt it!

Gearbox code TY752VB5CA

It owes me more than the asking price now but I don't need it. It has never been back on the car & was described by the gearbox specialist as 'Mint'

£460

I'll take it.

We're only in Worcester, so can collect easily.

PM on its way.

These boxes are shorter, stronger & lighter than the usual classic sti boxes and have the dccd which is nice.

You'd need the hubs, shafts and rear diff to complete the package, but all 2gether £700 would be a bargin!

Havin the box rebuild would cost a fortune and to let it go for £460 makes me think... too good to be true... usually is just that

Gearbox was sold on Saturday & it was a genuine item priced realistically.

It went in for a quote & was repaired as they had already stripped it.

I paid £400 for a good used TY754 & priced the TY752 accordingly.

Cheers!
