Do a search and read a few posts about a VF43, they work really well on the 2.0L and are much like the VF48.

The turbo came off a STI with a boost leak on Intercooler which wasnt discovered untill after turbo was removed and found not to be the cause ( a nice new 20g sits in its place ).
On the car in question it made 325bhp and just under 400ft lb. If you have any concerns i could ask Harvey to confirm if he inspected it and is indeed in tip top shape.
I do believe 340-350bhp is the norm for these turbos.

Mark thought he had a turbo issue but we suspected not. There was a big air leak from the TMIC flange to the BOV. Mark had a 20 G fitted, designed for 2.5 application.
The turbo we removed was in good order and I would have no hesitation fitting it to a 2 litre or 2.5 litre.
P.S. The low boost referred to above was due to the air leak and probably a mapping issue but not turbo related.
