I've got some photos and was thinking of doing a thread for the conversion.

I'll take a few more now and start a thread this evening.

Top man

Ive seen some threads on here with quite a bit of info on the conversion, but I think with this kind of job the more info the better, especially with "challanges" hightlighted along the way.

You'll be needing bumber bars and new pillars too? I cant recall off the top of my head, but there is a company out there who sells the conversion as a kit if you have all your own panles etc

I was aware that the STI scoop was slightly more curved on the sides, which this one is, than the WRX scoop. The outer shell of the scoop definitely looks STI to me.

Difficult to say about the situation with the fins

It was fitted to the car when I bought it so I'm afraid I have no receipts

The whole front end really is in virtually mint condition. Two minor stone chips near to the scoop on the bumper which are only in the lacquer but apart from that it really is in great condition. Regularly cleaned and polished when it was fitted to the car

Both wings are great condition also, no chips at all.

The front bumper had the number plate mounted on a fog lamp cover with glue. There is a small amount of glue left on the cover but its glue gun glue so should peel off pretty easily. There is a small rub on the corner of the bumper approximately the size of a 50p coin, should polish out though.

Grille and grille surround are absolutely mint and the overall paint finish of the whole front end is in top condition

Would you sell the scoop separately if it is an STI one?

Cheers,

Ayde.

I'm really looking to sell the scoop and bonnet together at the moment as I am in the process of moving house and really need the space.

If I still have the bonnet and scoop in a couple of weeks I'll let you know and may consider splitting.
