? Unsure of what you mean!
This clutch is near enough brand new and I had no problems with it in my car , by far the best clutch I've used.

doesn't the 6 speed have a bigger flywheel? and re- Lateral Perfomance website has a different code. It may fit a 6 speed but will it be as good?

Yup, its only 10mm smaller than the 6 speed one, a proper bit of kit these are and will take tonnes of abuse.

As long as it's got the 5 speed fly wheel it would work fine ,
This clutch has the lightened flywheel already good to go.
Yes there would be a different code plus extra cost by and 200 or more new ......
But would would work exactly the same .

It would mean a change in starter motor also.
A six speed clutch/ flywheel works well on a 5 speed gearbox, not sure I'd want to risk it the other way around, normally you would have a reduced contact area.
thanks

Yep your right 5 speed starter motor and slave cylinder .
Would be needed to work this .....
Well from all the rersurch I have done about this , any proper subaru clutch or gearbox specialist would tell you it would work fine just as long you have the right kind of push type clutch already in your car .
Hope this clears things up for everyone .
Thanks yvonne

Dont worry too much about this. I bought a 5 speed Exedy clutch for my 6 speed. The power rating is down a small amount but unless your aiming for huge power thats not going to be an issue. 5 speed and 6 speed clutch share all the same parts except for 1.

Its a great price, if I hadnt paid for a new one a while ago I would be buying it.
