93 Impreza WRX for sale. Hd gasket problem
Hi.
Unfortunately, I'm having to sell my Scooby.
I've owned her for around seven and a half years.
She's a 93 plate Silver import WRX saloon. Tax has expired, but still has MOT until Feb 2012.
Only mods are an Afterburner Vortex centre and rear exhaust and Bailey DV.
Also has 17" wheels which came from a Prodrive Bugeye (still have the original 15" wheels if required).
I had the Clutch & Flywheel replaced last year and she's also had a new Rad and Expansion bottle fitted earlier this year. Unfortunately it looks as if the problem was actually the head gasket(s) though.
I stopped using the car when I discovered oil had gotten into the cooling system (yoghurt in the Exp bottle).
I was originally gonna have her fixed, but I just don't have the funds, so I'm going to have to let her go.
Bodywork has some issues as well. There is some bubbling on the rear arch and just behind the osf arch as well. The rear spoiler could do with a repaint too.
Not too sure what to ask for her given these issues.
I was thinking around £600. but am open to sensible offers.
Car is currently located in Rainham, Kent, in my works yard.
Feel free to shoot me a PM if interested.
Thanks for looking.
Paul.

All I can say really, it was driving fine. It never overheated, I stopped using it as soon as I discovered the problem because I didn't want to cook it.
Don't know if I'd trust driving it back to Birmingham, TBH.
Only other issue I can think of is the Lambda sensor, but I have a Bosch replacement. Just didn't get around to fitting it.
HTH.

Hey chap,
Am genuinely interested in your car whats the best offer you would accept as cash on collection?
I'm able to get somebody to come and collect the car and trailer it back to Bristol any time this week.
Have you got a contact number?
Many thanks, and I look forward to your response.
Regards
Tom

Okay lads, I've had a lot of enquiries all of a sudden, so as it stands MattyBR5 has first refusal.
If that doesn't work out, I'll let you know.
Cheers, Paul.
